  • Where do I take the bus to the village?
    The blue bus station in Corfu Town is located at San Rocco Square. In the village, the bus leaves from the main square in the mornings and at the village entrance in the afternoons. The bus stop in the village square is only a few metres away from the house, whereas the village entrance is about a 5-10 minute walk. Buses to Corfu Town (Schedule) are every 2.5 hours, and the trip is about ±20 minutes. If you like more independence, there are car & motorbike rental services available in the area. For the time between mid July and mid September it is advisable to book a vehicle ahead.

  • Is it possible to print our boarding pass?
     
    Yes at Papous cottage we have printer available for any needs.

  • Is there a parking space?
     We do not have private parking, but after leaving your luggage in the alley, you can park your car at the village parking area, which is only a few metres away.

  • Is there internet access?
    Yes, free Wi/Fi access and a smart tv with internet access is available.

  • Is there a telephone in the room?
     Nope.

  • Is there a Minimum stay?
    Yes, the Minimum stay is 4 nights

  • Do you accept credit cards?
    Yes, we do but online only.

  • On arrival?
    Please, let us know about the time of your arrival 2 days ahead. If you want, you can call us as soon as you get to the island, and we will be happy to wait for you.

  • Do I have to bring my own sheets and towels?
    No, we provide all the sheets and towels needed.

  • Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
    Only on the balcony and at the veranda.
  • Are there any sanitary products in the bathroom (shampoo, sponges, soaps)?
    Apart from the towels we provide soap, shampoo, body soap and toilet paper.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    Check in is between 12.00 a.m. and midnight. Check-out by 12:00 a.m. But! we are always open to discussing your needs.

  • Is it safe to drink the tap water?
    You are advised to drink bottled water in most areas of the island. It is perfectly safe to drink tap water, but it is rather “hard”, i.e. it has a high mineral content; therefore, you may want to drink bottled water instead. At Papou cottage we provide you free reverse osmosis filtered water, which is excellent and healthy.

  • Are pets allowed?
    Yes with an extra charge, but! pets are not allowed to be on the beds and on the sofa.
